Position Summary
The Band-N-Go Inc Sales Representative is responsible for establishing and maintaining enduring business relationships throughout targeted vertical markets supplied by electrical and industrial products distributors.
Sales activities include calling on customers and prospects, following up product inquiries and sales leads and responding to requests for quotations. Most inquiries come via the Band-N-Go website or through email from a large base of existing customers, but also from prospective new customers.
As a Sales Representative with Band N Go Inc, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional service experience to all of our customers by working with our customer service, marketing and production teams to meet customer needs.
We are looking for someone who can quickly build a reputation for themselves within the company and with our customers. If you are passionate about providing customers with solutions for their banding requirements, then this is the position for you!
Responsibilities
-Reports to the President and is responsible for sales across Canada
-Meets agreed upon monthly sales revenue levels from sales of existing and new products
-Maintains relationships with existing customers and establishes relationships with new customers.
-Helps identify and develop additional distribution channels to reach additional trade users.
-Conducts sales activities utilizing email, video conferencing, telephone and personal visits to customers’ premises, job sites, and trade shows.
-Works with the Marketing Director to select and organize participation in trade shows and distributor/end user events.
-Learns about Band-N-Go products and applications and presents training sessions for distributor sales personnel, and end users as required.
-Communicates and coordinates activities with Independent Manufacturer’s Sales Representatives engaged by Band-N-Go Inc
Qualifications
A college diploma in a technical field, together with 5 years experience selling industrial products to electrical or industrial distributors or to end users in construction or industrial markets is preferred. Specific experience selling stainless steel banding and/or steel strapping products would be an asset.
Excellent communication and presentation skills together with contemporary computer skills are required
Must be well organized and able to monitor a number of sales activities simultaneously. Knowledge in the use of a CRM system and formal sales training would be assets.
As some travel is necessary, the successful candidate will have a safe operating vehicle and clean driving record, and a cell phone.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and must be able travel to the USA
Compensation
Band-N-Go Inc offers a competitive base salary plus an achievable commission and bonus plan with significant income growth potential.
