What’s the role?
We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our Design Studio team and works with the Director of Design and other Professional Services team leaders to ensure that we successfully deliver new products and features to market that delight our customer and are in line with our corporate strategy.

Responsible for high-level prioritization and direction of team members, project schedules and scope of effort. Assigns tasks and responsibilities to design and development teams.
- Conduct and lead client meetings to deliver project progress reports.
- Ability to craft detailed technical specification documentation and direct others in the work defined in these specifications.
- Implement and maintains project schedule, project documents, and meeting notes.

Provide integrated change control via an established change request process.

Provide comprehensive and on-going risk management.

Work with management to determine resource needs and availability; negotiate with management to resolve outstanding project-related issues.

Perform appropriate and timely follow-up with customers and internal areas to ensure project plan is progressing as scheduled. Provide recommendations to Design Studio and Professional Services leadership, and directly to customers, on mid-course project adjustments.
- Maintain all time keeping records that will be used in customer billing and makes available to appropriate internal sources at agreed upon intervals.

Ensures delivery of the highest quality service by processing and understanding customer technical requirements, needs, and expectations in preparation for project.
- Manages projects based on company workload. Schedules appropriate coverage in assigning projects to department resources.

Tracks and documents the status of projects until completed.

Performs regular research for continuous learning of industry knowledge and trends.
- Uses effective writing, verbal, and presentation skills in composing written materials, responding to emails, and constant interaction to solve work related problems and concerns.
- Maintains intermediate knowledge of all Modern Campus products‒ proficient in their functionality, features, and limitations.

The salary range* for this full-time position is between $60,000 - $80,000

What you offer…
-
University degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science and/or relevant work experience
-
Project Management certification or pre-certification, an asset.
-
2+ years of project management experience with increased responsibility
-
Experience with Project Management tools and software such as Wrike, Atlassian Clarizen, MyIntervals or Basecamp
-
Experience working with a web Content Management Solution is desired.

Experience with SEO, HTML, CSS, and Web Design principles is a plus.

Agile based project or product management experience would be an asset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
