About the Role
The HR Coordinator supports HR initiatives related to onboarding and off boarding administration. The HR Coordinator provides support to the HRBPs in areas such as administrative support, Workday administration and entries, Workday integrity, reporting and fixed term and contingent worker management. The will support the business with vacation clarification or possible reconciliation queries and with Leave of Absence management including Maternity, Paternity, LTD and STD leaves.
What will you be doing
Advocates employee experience within HR and the business
Works with others to define and coordinate the new hire onboarding and off boarding process and deliverables
Identifies employee experience improvement opportunities to HRBPs and management
Works with OD to prepare and maintain the new hire orientation content, and delivers weekly orientation sessions to new hires
Models, champions, and reinforces the organization’s vision, mission, and values
General Workday administration Monitors contingent worker expiry, working with Legal and Procurement
Updates contingent worker information in Workday Supports HRBPs and CoE’s in the recruitment process
Supports the employee lifecycle including contracting, onboarding and terminations.
Regularly utilizes system data and reporting needs, encouraging direct access where possible, and providing where needed
Partners with HR colleagues to share knowledge, skills, and expertise
Provide support to HRBP Team and other CoE’s involved in M&A activity
Support the administration of the Health and Safety programs
Provide support on Labour Relations when required for bargaining administrative requirements
Provide administration support for Audits by pulling all required information in order for the HRBP to present to the Auditors when needed
A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible HR experience.
Completion of post secondary educations, and preferred possession of a CHRP designation.
Creative problem-solver, possesses the ability to identify key issues and find creative solutions taking into account short term and long term impact
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, and verbal)
Requires the ability to create and maintain productive and collaborative cross functional relationships
Highly professional approach demonstrating a high degree of integrity
High attention to detail
Plan-full and highly organized
Ability to work effectively in stressful and time sensitive situations
