ABOUT OUR COOPERATIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM:
Our Co-op Program is an opportunity for students enrolled in a post-secondary education program to gain hands-on experience in the live event technology industry. This is a paid position with a 40 hour a week schedule. Students located near one of our physical locations (Dallas, Pittsburgh, Montreal) will work a hybrid schedule.
The program is set to start on January 8, 2024.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student for the role of Software Quality Assurance Analyst in our dynamic team. In this capacity, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the implementation of comprehensive testing methodologies.
Your primary responsibility will encompass the testing of Live Event Ticketing platforms within an Agile environment. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will champion the maintenance of the highest standards of software excellence. Your commitment to learning and your enthusiasm for exploring automated testing will significantly contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our testing processes.
AS A STUDENT QA ANALYST, YOU WILL:
Embark on your career journey by building upon your technical post-secondary education and software development experience.
Under the mentorship of a highly skilled team, master the most in-demand skills in Quality Assurance.
Learn and actively participate in test preparation, which includes engaging in peer reviews, setting up test environments, identifying pre-conditions, and documenting and reviewing test plans.
Assist in executing manual tests, encompassing functional, regression, and integration testing, while also identifying defects and conducting root cause analyses on any issues detected.
Learn the process of documenting defects with reproducible steps and support in managing them through the defect lifecycle.
Collaborate across our support team, development, and product teams to validate products.
Familiarize yourself with quality metrics and aid in generating reports that offer insights into the status and health of our products, encompassing both manual and automated testing efforts.
Review test plans and test cases, gathering feedback from internal stakeholders, including product owner(s), to collectively assess use case and edge case coverage.
Work alongside product owners to develop a comprehensive grasp of user stories and use-cases, which will be instrumental in formulating effective test approaches, crafting test plans, and conducting thorough outcome analyses.
Learn from and support senior QA Analysts in the development and upkeep of test scripts, utilizing tools like Selenium/Appium or equivalent platforms.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to technical computing or programming.
Demonstrated eagerness to learn and thrive within a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable collaborating closely with Engineering and Product teams.
Provide references to educational projects where you can showcase relevant software development, computer, or technical skills.
Possess excellent communication and writing skills.
BONUS POINTS:
Familiarity with software testing practices and a solid grasp of the SDLC process.
Experience in creating Test Plans using tools such as TestRail.
Understanding of Agile principles.
