In business since 1960, Kennebec Construction Services is an open shop, multi-trade, specialty contractor serving Atlantic Canada. Our three main operating divisions include: Construction Management, Electrical Contracting and Communication Cabling.
We are currently seeking applications from Heat Pump Installers/Technicians who are interested in joining our established team in Charlottetown, PEI.
Responsibilities
- Set up and install HVAC systems
- Assist in testing the HVAC system’s functionality
- Successfully completing repairs
- Installing and repairing ductless mini-split heat pumps and ventilation systems
- Repairing and maintaining air filters, bets, bearings, and thermostats
- Identifying maintenance risks with the equipment
- Communicate with customers about various system options
- Diagnosing, analyzing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems, components, and controls
- Ensures equipment is within design capabilities
- Ensuring all safety procedures are followed
Requirements
- Red Seal Certificate
- Has a driver’s license
- Air conditioning & refrigeration license (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Pay Scale
$30-$35/h
