Job Summary
Northern Safety Solutions is looking for an individual to conduct training and consulting for our clients. The individual would be trained by NSS in our processes as a health and safety consultant and trainer. The individual would conduct onsite health and safety compliance audits, prepare reports and develop policies and safe operating practices.
Responsibilities and Duties
The individual would work with our team to provide training sessions for our clients and public training sessions offered by NSS. Provide health and safety consulting as well as reports of health and safety compliance audits.
Qualifications and Skills
The candidate must be able to deliver training programs to participants to the high standard set by Northern Safety Solutions. The candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of health and safety as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the sector regulations for Ontario workplaces. The candidate shall be organized and be able to work on their own and lead participants to successfully complete the required training. They must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. The candidate must be bondable, provide a criminal check as well as have their own vehicle for travel. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience in health and safety.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-24 per week
Salary: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
