ACG Saws and Tools is an Ottawa-based company that designs and manufactures products for the concrete/rock cutting industry. We have set up a new manufacturing and development center and are now looking to hire a full-time CNC machinist to add to our team. ACG offers competitive salaries and flexible hours. Experience: 1 to 5 years
Responsibilities / job description
- Read and interpret setup sheets
- Prepare materials
- Setup CNC mills/lathe for production
- Run production
- Inspection – monitor critical dimensions and document
- Maintain production equipment. Oil and coolant
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Some assembly work could be required
- Deburr and clean parts
- Documentation

- Read, interpret and understand drawings and documentation

Education
- High school diploma
- College or equivalent (toolmaking or machinist)
This is a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, occasional weekend work may be required
