Duties & Responsibilities:

Preferred License Mechanic

· Following company health and safety policies

· Inspect truck & trailers daily – preventative Maintenance

· Repair mechanical breakdown

· Working outside

· Knowledge of the proper handling of power and hand tools

· Record all work completed on work order form along with PM checklist

· Must be able to perform tire changes requirements.

· General knowledge of engine scanning systems

· Must be able to work on all models of trucks, Dry and Reefer Trailers

· knowledge of DPF Systems, Electrical Systems, Air Systems, Fuel Systems and Brake Systems

· Must be able to troubleshoot

· Maintain a safe and clean work area

· Must be a self-starter

· Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs

· Welding & Fabrication experience is considered an asset.

Experience:

· Mechanic certification considered an asset

· 2 years experience working on Trucks and Trailers
