Salary/Benefits:
Excluded position: Grid 9, $77,408.00 - $103,211.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications as per NLC's Excluded Salary Scale. An excellent benefit package is offered, including extended health and dental benefits. Annual vacation is pro-rated and front-loaded, based on 210 hours/FTE, as well as time off paid for the period between Christmas and New Year's Day. Schedule is Monday ? Friday, 35 hours per week. Enrolment in the College Pension Plan is mandatory for those in this role, with the standard contributions matched by the employer.
Description:
Reporting to the Associate VP of Educational Services the Manager of Student Recruitment is responsible for developing, planning, organizing, coordinating, managing, and carrying out the services and procedures of domestic student recruitment.
The primary function of this role is to oversee and support leadership in the day-to-day operations of the student recruitment team. The Manager will be expected to design, implement, and manage the student recruitment strategies and operations that meet the strategic goals of the institution as it relates to domestic student enrolment; developing the annual activities for recruitment (for both on and off campus events), and working collaboratively with our Indigenous Education department to coordinate activities for recruitment within our First Nations communities.
It is the responsibility of the Manager to cultivate a high-performing and cohesive student recruitment team. They will work in coordination with college leadership to ensure recruitment strategies and activities are data-informed and respond to enrolment trends and priorities.
*** Travel will be required within the geographical area, with potential travel occurring in Western Canada.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Diploma in a relevant field of study with preference given to those who hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with 1-3 years of experience in domestic student recruitment in the post-secondary education sector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Two (2+) or more years of leadership experience in a team setting.

Will demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Knowledge of College programs and policies.

Knowledge of and experience with current practices in prospective student engagement and recruitment for the college sector.

Knowledge of strategic enrolment management and marketing best practices.

Budget development and administration experience.

Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in corporate/core competencies including customer service, communication, teamwork, initiative, self-management, and accountability.

Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

The ability to manage a primary budget of $750,000.

Current and valid driver's license
