Design Specialist - Junior

Main responsibilities
· Design and integrate landing gear components, assemblies and systems to meet customer requirements;
· Produce engineering drawings, datasets and documents to support production design;
· Identify component key characteristics;
· Issue weight reports and calculate components weight, moment of inertia, center of gravity, etc;
· Administer computer assisted design (CAD) systems and datasets;
· Help defining test articles, test requirements and criteria for internal development and qualification testing;
· Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
· Technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and 2 years or less of relevant experience;
· Good understanding of design methodologies;
· Good knowledge of Catia V5 - advance methods, kinematics, functional tolerance and annotation and drafting / interoperability is an asset;
· Proficiency of MS office suite;
· Ability to provide analysis and advanced calculations, to solve complex technical problems, to work in a team and a client oriented environment.
**Salary: 51 954$ - 65 000$
