Downtown Motor Products (DMP) is a family owned and operated dealership, serving London, Southern Ontario, and Northern United States of America for over 30 years. Responsibilities:
- Approach, greet, and welcome customers who enter the sales lot and dealership showroom
- Familiarize and continually update knowledge of inventory on the sales lot to prepare for prospective customers
- Assist all customers on the phone or on the lot
- Perform knowledgeable demonstrations of vehicles with confidence and proficiency
- Learn to perform steps of the sale process to provide quality customer service
- Overcome objections and learn to close sales effectively
- Follow-up with prospective customers
- Learn to provide customers with financing options and post sale services
- Enter inventory into databases, garage registry and online marketplaces
- Report to the general manager or owner regarding sales
- Meet company standards in professional and positive manner
Qualifications:
- Must have quality customer service skills and strong communication skills
- Must be enthusiastic in sales and take initiative throughout the work day
- Willing to learn performance and benefits of vehicles on the sales lot
- Welcoming and approachable personality when working with clients and associates
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have OMVIC sales license
- Experience in sales preferred
