As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly organized and motivated HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The HR Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth functioning of various HR processes within the company. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of HR best practices. They will collaborate closely with members of the HR department, managers, and employees to facilitate various HR activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
What will you do?
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and assisting with necessary paperwork.
- Assist in conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth offboarding process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and performance evaluations.
- Assist in coordinating recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the selection process by conducting reference checks and coordinating pre-employment background checks.
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance and leave management.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and provide guidance to employees and managers when needed.
- Act as a resource for employees, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on HR-related matters.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing team-building activities and recognition programs.
- Assist in coordinating employee training and development programs, including scheduling training sessions and tracking attendance.
- Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal-setting and performance appraisal activities.
- Liaising with the HR Manager to communicate needs across the organization.
What do you need to succeed?
- A degree/diploma in human resources, business administration, psychology or a related field.
- 2+ years of previous experience in human resources, recruitment, or a related field
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to hiring, employee relations, and workplace compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees and address their concerns.
- Ability to promote a positive work environment and foster employee engagement.
- Proficiency in onboarding new employees and facilitating orientation programs.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to adapt to changing HR trends, technologies, and industry practices.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with evolving Ed-Tech and HR developments.
