Triumph Advertising has clients in the e-commerce, i-gaming and wholesale manufacturing space. As an advertising company, our core offering is advertising services including Facebook Ads, Google Ads, e-mail and native adds. We manage advertising and e-commerce funnels for some of the largest direct to consumer digital supplement advertisers in the world.
Human Resources Specialist is responsible for 4 functions. The incumbent must understand, model and represent the company’s values. Your experience should include as many of these activities as possible:
HR Business Partnering:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Management providing guidance on HR topics, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and career development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand HR needs, challenges, and opportunities within the multiple functions of the organization and develop strategies to address them effectively.
- Provide coaching and support on employee development, performance improvement, and career planning.
Talent Acquisition and Retention:
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for sales and marketing positions, ensuring a diverse and high-quality candidate pool.
- Participate in the interview process, assessing candidates' skills, experience, cultural fit, and potential for success in the organization.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
Employee Engagement and Development:
- Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention within the organization.
- Collaborate with leaders to identify training and development needs and create programs that promote employee growth, skill enhancement, and career progression.
- Monitor employee performance and provide guidance to managers on performance management, including goal setting, performance feedback, and recognition.
HR Program Implementation:
- Support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives such as performance management, talent review, compensation planning, and succession planning within the sales and marketing functions.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies, providing guidance to managers and employees as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, preferably in a marketing or advertising organization
- Ability to manage high volume, high pressure environment in a deadline driven environment.
- Must have a proven track record of success and demonstrate confidence and self-motivation
- Demonstrated passion for the recruiting and sourcing functions with strong experience in candidate development and a focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with hiring partners, strategize around hiring practices as it relates to business needs, and act as a consultative partner to the hiring team
- Experience using an applicant tracking system - Workable
- An excellent communicator who can build genuine relationships with candidates, hiring managers and external partners at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Relevant knowledge of Human Resources and employment laws, preferably across multiple jurisdictions
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Ability to travel to the Toronto office 5 days a week
