Skills/Experiences/Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician or Interprovincial trade ticket.
- Experienced with HVAC is an asset
- Advanced mechanical and technical aptitude
- Knowledge and experience with PLC controls and programming systems
- Blueprint reading skills
- Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
- Proficient in using Hand tools and Power tools
- Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC and Electrical equipment
- Have excellent customer service skills
Full Job Description
- Troubleshooting, maintaining, replacing and repairing residential electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices as required
- Performing inspection on wiring , outlets and other electrical components
- Testing electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
- Conducting preventative maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
- Interpreting and following blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and electrical code specifications
- Installing new wire in existing systems or repairing old wiring
- Mounting panel boards
- Delivering best customer service to customers
