Reporting to the Chef and Production Manager, our production room workers play an integral role within Bytown Catering by ensuring our clients are delivered an exceptional culinary experience. Our Production room workers are responsible for the food safety and quality of food prepared within their assigned station.
The work is performed in a production room, in a controlled environment at 10 degrees Celsius, producing sandwiches and grab and go products.
**Please note that public transportation is not always available. Bytown Catering will provide shuttle service from various transit stations within the city**
Requirements:
- Maintain high levels of food safety through strong culinary techniques and multiple daily inspections
- Ensure cleanliness standards are met throughout the kitchen
- Demonstrable written and verbal communication abilities (English or French)
- Be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs throughout a work shift
Full-Time - Shifts start from 10am, weekend availability is required
Benefits available after 3 months:
