WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Ensure that the criticality of equipment and the priority of work requests are considered when prioritizing daily actions-
Manage the start and end of shift meeting with his staff:
- Distributes work orders to employees
- Conducts safety analysis of maintenance work
-
Ensure compliance of completed work orders (information and time worked)
-
Manage overtime needs according to established procedures
-
Performs regular floor rounds to ensure quality work is being performed and that good practices are in place when performing the work

Improve the entry and quality of information in the CMMS system (work order documentation, parts list, standard work, etc.)
-
Take charge of the execution of work orders that are schedule breakers
-
Provide the maintenance priorities for the following week at the beginning of each week to the scheduler

Participate in weekly and daily scheduling meetings
-
Communicate regularly with the operation to inform them of the progress and status of maintenance work
-
Review and validate employee notes and comments on completed WO's and notify appropriate employees when information is incomplete.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
A DEC or DEP or equivalent in a relevant field-
At least 5 years experience in a similar position

You are autonomous and have excellent organizational skills

You are an excellent communicator and know how to show leadership
-
You are proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
-
Knowledge of one or more CMMS systems such as Maximo, SAP, Guide Ti, etc.

Availability to work a 14/14 schedule in fly-in/fly-out mode.
