The Polysomnographic Tech performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis of overnight sleep studies as well as other tasks associated with the role of sleep technologist.
REQUIREMENTS:
● Allied college/university degree preferred (e.g., life sciences, psychology, etc.) or successful completion of a polysomnography program ● Previous experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist is an asset but not essential as training will be provided if required ● Knowledge and expertise with computerized sleep testing systems; knowledge of Alice 6 equipment and Sleepware G3 software is an asset ● Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is an asset, but not necessary ● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proven problem solving and organizational skills ● Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR/First Aid)
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
● Performing level 1 overnight sleep studies-- patient hook up using a 10/20 system, bio-calibration, artifact recognition, regular overnight observations, equipment disinfection, etc. ● Performing overnight CPAP/BiLevel titration and administering oxygen according to the clinic protocol ● Ensuring patient safety and maintain professional appearance of the clinic ● Equipment cleaning and maintenance required

● Night Shift / Flexible schedule ● Weekend shifts may be required ● Competitive Compensation based on experience: 18$ - 28$ per hour ● Paid training for this position will be provided if needed
