The Talent Acquisition team operates within our OneHR team as a strategic partner to the business. We work to provide data-driven, intelligently crafted services to ensure alignment between our team and Equinix’s business hiring initiatives. Be a Talent Advisor: Partner with hiring teams to develop and drive effective sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies with an ability to manage expectations and influence hiring decisions based on recruiting expertise and shared business goals. Demonstrate strong business acumen, leverage the business strategy to attract talent and ensure high review-to-interview ratios.
Be a Networker: Build and maintain a network of candidates and prospects through proactive relationship management; understand how to recruit passive candidates and engage for current and future opportunities.
Be an Innovator: Recommend ideas and strategies for continuous improvement, contribute to the long-term goals and growth of the company and ensure high-quality hires; participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing of corporate talent. leveraging internal mobility and increasing diversity during the recruiting and hiring process.
Be a Brand Ambassador: Work closely with internal partners including Talent Marketing and TA Pathways team on campaigns and initiatives to increase diversity and brand awareness in the market.
5+ years as a full-cycle recruiter for corporate and technical roles in a similar industry
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Good understanding of the new to career hiring landscape in Canada required, with 2+ years of experience preferred in driving recruitment strategy and events, building internal & external partnerships and overall intern/co-op program planning & implementation
A deep passion for providing an amazing candidate and manager experience
Creative thinker willing to experiment with new ideas
Ability to advocate, educate and influence business to adopt diversity recruitment strategies, processes and philosophy
Strategic and analytical problem solver
Data-driven with baseline knowledge of Excel
Strong communication skills, excellent relationship building skills and eagerness to succeed
Courageous enough to be direct, truthful and enthusiastic with constructive feedback
Self-motivated and directed; with a solid ability to collaborate whilst also being comfortable working independently
A dynamic self starter
Accustomed to multitasking and meeting multiple, tight deadlines
Lead candidate experience and acts as an advocate for both Equinix and the potential hire
Passionate about connecting talent with opportunity, particularly student & new to career talent programs
A clear communicator, adept at managing multiple stakeholders across the organization
