Therapist for Individuals and Couples in our Calgary location for 3-4+ days/week. Assessment or group experience an asset though not required.
We are seeking a individual and couples therapist(s) on a part-time building to full-time basis. This position would require 3-4 days per week to start including during daytime, evening and some weekend hours. These proposed hours can be flexible over time based on schedule, client load, and seniority. Ability to expand into full-time an asset. Assessments and ability to work off site an asset but not required. We are looking for a Registered Psychologist but would consider a Provisionally Registered Psychologist with existing supervision.
(Additional to this psychologist/therapist position we are also seeking contract psychologists for 1) conducting assessments ; 2) work offsite in our corporate FIFO program. If interested please indicate this role in your application.)

Candidate Requirements:
-Demonstrated competence and training in your model of choice for individual therapy. Preference given to bottom-up, process-focused, trauma informed, and/or attachment/relational based styles
-Experience working with trauma directly or indirectly an asset.
-Minimum of 2-3 years counselling experience counselling various mental health concerns
-Experience in Emotionally-Focused therapy (minimum of Externship) for the couples therapy or willingness to attend this training within first 6 months
-Ability to provide various assessments an asset but not required
-Psychologist (R. Psych or Prov. Psych). Open to considering MSW/RSW therapists
-Masters or Ph.D. degree in related field
-Registration with College, member in good standing. Will consider Provisionals with previous counselling experience and their own supervision
-Ability to offer various assessments not required but an asset
-Clean background check required
-Insurance
-Warm, engaging presence with strong interpersonal skills and good work ethic
-Commitment to continued learning (trainings, monthly consultations, teams meetings, etc)
-Ability to work 3-4 days/week, with some evening and/or weekend availability. Flexibility to grow to full-time an asset in the next 1-2 years.
-Will be based out of the Calgary Kensington office. Sessions both in-person and online
