The recruitment team at Myticas Consulting is looking for an experienced ASIC Architect who would be interested in a full-time permanent opportunity offered within North America.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to lead the architecture design of new computing infrastructure and ASIC chips for data intensive application
- Be able to generate insights from the industry and academic trends of big data analytics, and propose technical strategy and roadmap
- Be able to influence stakeholders on technical planning and investigation direction for our client's big data solution
- Be able to understand both internal and external customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Act as a technical leader of our global team and lead the technical team to complete end-to-end delivery
- Generate intellectual property such as patents and trade-secrets from research findings
Job requirements
Your Background:
- BS, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience and a proven track record of optimally delivering many complex RTL designs targeting large FPGAs/ASICs
- In depth knowledge of design, development, verification and synthesis of hardware designs for FPGAs/ASICs. Should be fluent in multiple languages/tools related to FPGA/ASICs development (e.g. Verilog, VHDL, SystemC etc.)
- Expertise in VHDL/Verilog or similar with additional coding experience in C, C++ or similar low-level languages
- Familiar with FPGA tools from Xilinx/AMD and/or Intel and have experience of taking multiple complex designs through at least one of these toolchains
- Understanding of big data and deep learning concepts is an asset
- Exceptional ability to effectively work individually in a multi-zone and multi-site team
- Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills to lead a global team and leverage resources from the industry and academy
