We are looking for a team of 10-12 lifeguards to join our team and help ensure the safety of our patrons. The ideal candidate will have their NLS certification and CPR - C, but candidates with their Bronze Cross and emergency first aid will be accepted. The successful candidate will also be responsible for enforcing pool rules, providing assistance to swimmers, and performing regular maintenance and cleaning of the pool area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about aquatic safety and enjoys working with people.
We are staffing two pools in the Algonquin College/City View areas where lifeguards would guard in teams of two, with opportunities to work at one or both pools (only a 9 min drive between the two).
Salary:
- 18.50/hr - Starting pay
- Raises for working full time and weekend days, up to $20.50/hr
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bronze Cross and Emergency First Aid
- Prefered: NLS with Standard First Aid and CPR - C
Contract Length:
- June 24th - September 4th 2023
- Opportunities available to return for Summer 2024!
