Reporting to the HR Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will be part of the HR Service Delivery team which plays a critical role in the delivery of internal Human Resources services to LifeWorks. The HR Service Delivery Coordinator supports the Service Delivery Centre by resolving a wide variety of employee and manager inquiries including but not limited to payroll, compensation, benefit programs, company policies, and technical HR applications.
The role also supports and provides accurate and efficient validation and processing of employee workforce transactions including letter creation, HRIS system input and enabling function support.
Specific responsibilities and tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:
Provides initial resolution support and ensures prompt, accurate and consistent handling of employee, manager and 3rd party vendor inquiries via telephone, email, and case management system. Inquiries may relate to payroll, company policies, technical assistance for HR applications, and other HR related matters.
Validates requests for workforce changes to employment law standards and internal policy and procedural requirements ensuring compliance
Maintains data integrity through timely and accurate input, audit and governance of workforce changes.
Administers HR programs such as Short-Term Disability and Online Learning to program standards and communicated timelines.
Maintains employee electronic files, ensuring confidentiality of information.
Succeeding as a Human Resources Coordinator will require the following core qualifications and skills:
Minimum of one year experience in Human Resources or related field and one year in client service-oriented role.
Knowledge of human resource practices and employment law.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, client focus and service orientation.
Bilingual in French and English
Working knowledge of Excel
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
