This is a general farm worker employment position on a bovine farm. Duties include monitoring bovine, and maintaining fresh water supply, cleaning barns, yards, pens. Bovine grooming and monitoring health and well being of each bovine on the farm. Daily checking of fencing, gates, pastures and pens. Monitoring inventory of all feed supplies directly related to the bovine herd. Reporting all and any concerns daily to your supervisor. Farm equipment is required to be operated during the procedure of maintaining the herd, operation of tractors, loaders, feed wagons are mandatory, as well as during the cleaning process within the barns and yards, manure handling equipment is used. During calving season nightly possibly hourly checks are required, as well as calving assistance as emergencies arise. Full time, seasonal position from March until December. Experience in this field is a benefit.
