What we're looking for:
Working primarily with our fast-paced Medical Service team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, upgrading, performing preventative maintenances and supporting clinical training on specified ZEISS instruments and software for our customers located in Western Quebec and Eastern Ontario. You will be responsible for the complete SVO process including troubleshooting, final diagnosis, repairing and reporting.
What you'll do:

Diagnose and repair all designated products within the territory, including preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades and clinical training as per established protocols.

Execute work assignments and schedules as directed by the Regional Service Supervisor and management.

Engage CSE Level-3 and other resources to collaboratively support teams and customers.

Complete and submit field service reports daily according to written procedures.

Complete all necessary forms and reports such as expense reports, quality reports, etc. on time.

Overnight travel within the established territory as required, 50-80% travel during peak times.

Maintain spare parts inventory according to company guidelines and return unused spare parts promptly.

Travel to other regions in Canada as required as well as factory training purposes outside of Canada.

Adhere to the rules of engagement and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Develop and implement synergy opportunities among other Zeiss teams, Field Service, and other corporate partners when such programs arise.

Bilingual French/English is mandatory.

Who you are:
-
A post secondary diploma or degree in a technical discipline is necessary.

Field service and / or technical support experience is required.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.

Must be highly organized, be able to prioritize and manage time effectively.

Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP/CRM and geo-localization systems are an asset.
