Remcan Projects LP, Canada’s leading railway maintenance and construction contractor is currently looking for a Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing company.
This position is for a full time field HDM to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our very diverse fleet of equipment throughout Manitoba.
Responsibilities include:
· Perform preventative maintenance on various equipment*
· Diagnose and repair all types of equipment* *
· Report to the Mechanical Superintendent* *
· Complete work orders and equipment log books accurately* *
· Source parts and supplies when necessary* *
· Work individually as well as in a team environment* *
· Assist with other duties as required*
· Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years experience
· Extensive experience with hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
· Class 3 w/ air license would be an asset
· Experience with railway equipment an asset
· Work within our safety guidelines
· Willing to learn and repair all types of equipment
· Willing to travel and work in remote locations when necessary
