Job Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled AV Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of audio-visual projects, including planning, scheduling, and executing projects from conception to completion.
The project manager's role is the regional installation manager for the Vancouver / Abbotsford region. This position is split 40% administrative and 60% field technician. The administrative part of this position is intended to be completed in the field while assisting crews onsite.
Responsibilities
- Work with a partner/crew to complete audio-visual installation in the greater Vancouver area
- Work with the Director of Installations to ensure installations are held to company standards
- Work with the project management team to create/develop/maintain install standards
- Mentor and train new installers, develop growth tracks and ensure continued growth
- Maintain installation and forecasting calendar for the Vancouver region
- Install, configure, program, test, and troubleshoot audio-visual systems (Preferred)
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users
- Participate in weekly leadership meetings
- Maintain comprehensive status for all current projects with key deliverables
- Coordinate service call responses, including after hours in case of emergencies
Experience Requirements:
- 5 years AV installation Experience (preferred) OR 5 years in a technical or construction-focused business.
- 2 years of experience in a leadership/management role

Job Skill Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Drivers license
- An iPhone or Andriod smartphone with/ cellular data
- Project management (Scheduling, Planning, Stakeholder communication)
- Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs)
- Steel toe-over-ankle boots
Preferred Skills:
- Solder XLR, 1/4" TS/TRS, 1/8" TS/TRS, RCA, DB9 termination experience
- Compression RG6, RG59 termination experience
- Crimp RJ45 UTP and STP termination experience
- Rigging AV equipment such as speakers, lighting, and AV infrastructure to build structure
- Fibre LC MM/SM termination experience
- Use of Hand and Power Tools
- Proficiency with Basic networking and troubleshooting
- Experience with Crestron Toolbox, Extron Global Configurator Plus/Pro
- Experience with accessing and troubleshooting shooting audio DSP software such as Symetrix, QSC Qsys, Audio Architect
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel out of town - Typical 1 week/month
- Locally - Our projects take place across the Lower Mainland and project locations vary
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
