Position Summary/ Resume du poste:
Fournit une manintenance rapide, de qualite et rentable pour la flotte de véhicules Federal Express et l'equipement de soutien au sol qui necessite une maintenance preventive, un depannage, des reparations, des modifications et une documentation.
Provides timely, quality, cost effective maintenance for FedEx Express vehicle fleet and ground support equipment which requires preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications and documentation.
CONNAISSANCES, COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES REQUISES :
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent GED
- Certification/permis de technicien d'entretien automobile ou de technicien de camions et d'autocars
- Doit posseder un permis class 5 valide et avoir un bon dossier de conduite
- Doit posseder une certification et carte de mecanique
- Doit avoir 5 ans d'experience.
Experience
- Trois (3) ans d'experience en flotte
- Experience en entretien de flotte, un atout
Compétences informatiques/techniques
- Competences en depannage electronique
- Doit avoir une connaissance pratique de l'utilisation et du foncionnement de tous les equipements de test de diagnostic automobile, des jauges et des outils associes au depannage et a la reparation des equipements a essence, diesel et hydrauliques
- Doit avoir des connaissances de base en soudage et en procedures de securite
- Doit etre capable de soulever et manoeuvrer des composants de vehicules lourds jusqu'a 70lb
- Doit etre capable de soulever et de manoeuvrer des composants de vehicules lourds de plus de 70lb a l'aide d'une assistance mecanique de levage appropriee
- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word -- De Base Préféré
- Applications inter/intranet -- De Base.
- Diagnostic Software - JPRO® Professional Heavy Duty Software, Allison DOC® Fleets (1K/2K & 3K/4K), Cummins Insite Professional, Ford IDS w/VCM-2 Rotunda, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link, Mercedes, C - (Préféré )
- Pour les postes Ramp, le placement reussi dans le poste depend de la reussitedue candidat a l'evaluation de Transport Cananda, dela GRC et du SCRS, qui est basée sur des informations de base verifiables de cinq (5) ans.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Automotive Service Technician or Truck and Coach Technician accreditations/certifications/licenses
- Must possess valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Automotive Service Technician or Truck and Coach Technician certification/license
- Mechanics Cards/ certification
- 5 years experience
Related Experience
- Fleet experience required - three (3) years
- Fleet maintenance experience an asset
Computer/Technical Skills
- Electronic troubleshooting skills
- Must have working knowledge of use and operation of all automotive diagnostic testing equipment, gauges and tools associated with trouble shooting and repairs of gasoline, diesel and hydraulic powered equipment
- Must have basic knowledge of welding and safety procedures
- Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components up to 70 Ibs
- Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components above 70 Ibs with the help of appropriate lifting mechanical assistance
- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word – Basic - Preferred
- Inter/intranet applications – Basic
- Diagnostic Software - JPRO® Professional Heavy Duty Software, Allison DOC® Fleets (1K/2K & 3K/4K), Cummins Insite Professional, Ford IDS w/VCM-2 Rotunda, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link, Mercedes, C - (Preferred)
- For Airport positions, successful placement in the position is contingent on the applicant passing the Transport Canada, RCMP, and CSIS assessment, which is based on five (5) years verifiable background information. Must own a complete set of automotive or truck hand tools including metric sizes and storage cabinets for same
