Your Opportunity
BDO Canada is looking for a Senior Manager to join the US Corporate Tax team and own the following responsibilities:
Provide both technical and project management leadership to team members for US Corporate Tax planning projects or assignments

- US Corporate Tax planning assignments and projects typically involve providing advice to optimize clients' tax savings in the context of on-off Canada-US cross border transactions, ongoing effective tax rate management, etc.
- Apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to clients' businesses
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of presentation materials and written publications
- Provide leadership to the group's administrative processes
- Responsible for tax research (including reviewing research for junior staff) on US issues
- Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team

Your experience and education
- You have completed a professional designation (BCL, LLB, LLM, CPA)
You have a minimum of 7 years' experience in the public accounting industry-
- You possess a minimum of three years of experience and expertise in a US corporate tax management role
- You are client service focused with the ability to train a team
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
