Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, both in-person and over the phone. Your primary responsibilities will include handling incoming leads, assisting walk-in customers, providing product information, processing orders, and maintaining a welcoming and organized showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement:
- Greet and assist walk-in customers with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing accurate product information and solutions.
Product Knowledge:
- Become knowledgeable about our product offerings, including doors, hardware, and related accessories.
- Offer expert advice and recommendations to customers to help them select the right products for their needs.
Order Processing:
- Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all details are correct.
- Provide price quotes and process payments through our system.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
Lead Management:
- Qualify and manage incoming leads from various sources, including phone inquiries and online inquiries.
- Follow up with leads to understand their requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
Showroom Maintenance:
- Keep the showroom clean, organized, and well-maintained to create a professional and welcoming environment for customers.
- Ensure product displays are current and well-stocked.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and inquiries.
- Generate reports as needed for sales tracking and analysis.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in counter sales, retail, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including order processing systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of commercial doors, hardware, or construction-related products is an advantage but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
