The Customer Service Representative (Remote) works from home and interfaces with customers via inbound/outbound calls and/or via the Internet. This position provides customer service support and resolution of routine problems and questions regarding client products and/or services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
As a Customer Service Representative working from home, you will:

Provide exceptional customer experiences to bank customers and prospective customers as our client seeks to build their brand as a bank
-
Sell relevant cross-sell products to customers such as low rate balance transfers, identity protection and travel related products
-
Solve problems for bank customers and promote card benefits
-
Where appropriate, resolve customer complaints and de-escalate emotional situations while using our elevation process to meet customer’s needs
-
Make customer focused decisions to enhance the value of our card to our clients
-
Answer inquiries and provide credit card related guidance to customers
-
Help clients take full advantage of rewards program
-
Answer questions on transactions and statements

Provide information on fees, finance charges, annual membership fees, credit limits and payments
-
Perform balance transfers, and cash advances and credit limit increases
-
Process demographic information, personal information changes e.g. address and phone number updates
-
Access and negotiate multiple information systems to answer questions
-
Complete internal documentation on paper or online to forward to various departments for work on accounts

Identify areas for process improvement to improve the customer experience, sales results or efficiency
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Your skills, integrity, knowledge, and genuine compassion will deliver value and success with every customer interaction. Other qualifications for our Customer Service Representative (Remote) role include:

18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED

Fluent in French and English

Strong computer proficiency required

6 months to 1 year of customer service
-
6 months to 1 year experience in a contact centre preferred

Talent for delivering outstanding service

Adept communication skills, in both written and verbal form
-
The natural instinct to multitask, be flexible, and are able to adapt to changes

The knack for being detail oriented
-
The passion for being a team player
-
Patience in working with customers is second nature for you

The ability to do rotational shifts as needed
