Description:
This job located in the beautiful lakeside community of Sambaa K’e NT. Home to roughly 80 residents this community is booming with employment opportunities of all skill levels. The Sambaa K’e Development Corporation is a for profit corporation owned by the members of the Sambaa K’e First Nations which makes them all equal shareholders of SKDC. Profits from SKDC are invested in the Corporation itself to lower the rising costs of living in the isolated community of Sambaa K’e.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Dev Corp General Manager is to oversee all operation of the Corporation which include:
· Fuel Services
· Guest House Bookings and invoicing
· Trout Lake Lodge tourism
· Government contracts – such as the Winter road and airport maintenance
· Managing Heavy Equipment repairs and invoicing
· Accounting – A/R, A/P, payroll, and monthly reporting
· Finding Funding and economic opportunities
Requirements:
· Able to work independently and with a team
· Understanding how a business is supposed to run
· Basic math and computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
