Pearle Hospitality is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Special Event Consultant to join their team. The individual in this sales role consistently adheres to Pearle standards for client relationships and service, creating an environment of trust and delivering incredible client experiences. Guest focused, with a strong emphasis on event details to ensure flawless execution, the Special Event Consultant works tirelessly to increase event sales and promote return business.

Key Accountabilities
- Expertly & enthusiastically conduct first visit appointments with potential clients and consistently prepare appropriate sales strategies for each first appointment.
- Skillfully adapt style based on guest tone, personality, budget, culture, etc to ensure that client’s vision is understood and that appointments are successful.
- Work with clients every step of the way ensuring regular communication so that every detail of their special day is attended to.
- Make hand-off to the operations team a top priority at Tastings, Rehearsal, Day of Event.
- Provide feedback from clients throughout the planning process and after event, both positive and constructive, for the purpose of consistently improving offerings and service levels for all events
- Effectively and accurately maintain client files and event details, keep strict confidentiality of all business dealings and clients’ personal information
- Respond effectively to rectify guest concerns and handles complaints to ensure positive guest recovery- Informs the necessary departments to solidify guest satisfaction
- Seek creative ways to improve service levels within all aspects of the position
- Maximize revenue by up-selling contracted products and identifying additional revenue opportunities based on the event profile and guest budgets
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and the team’s profitability goals while holding self, and others, accountable for achieving results
Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge: Opera, Micros and OpenTable systems is an advantage. Thorough understanding of MS Office Suite. Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Organization: Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as necessary. Well-developed organization and time management skills. A keen eye for detail
- Communication: Listen attentively to customer requests, able to accurately identify needs or suggest appropriate solutions/alternatives.
- Sales: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Hospitality Sales role
