Sterling Crane requires an individual to fill the salaried position of ERP Technical Lead, based out of one of our Head Offices (Edmonton, Thornton, Perth). Our corporate Marmon Crane Services, Inc. is embarking on an exciting journey to standardize Dynamics 365 F&O and SCM as an ERP platform across all our companies. As the ERP Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in the rollout, maintenance, and enhancements of the D365 platform. Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to deliver on business objectives and ensure a positive customer experience. You will work closely with external implementation partners and report to the ERP Program Manager during implementation, and later to the Vice President of Information Technology.
ERP Technical Lead
Canada, US or AUS - Remote
Sterling Crane requires an individual to fill the salaried position of ERP Technical Lead, based out of one of our Head Offices (Edmonton, Thornton, Perth). Our corporate Marmon Crane Services, Inc. is embarking on an exciting journey to standardize Dynamics 365 F&O and SCM as an ERP platform across all our companies. As the ERP Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in the rollout, maintenance, and enhancements of the D365 platform. Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to deliver on business objectives and ensure a positive customer experience. You will work closely with external implementation partners and report to the ERP Program Manager during implementation, and later to the Vice President of Information Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight for ongoing maintenance and enhancement of D365 application
- Lead all technical phases of the D365 life-cycle management
- Collaborate with implementation partners to meet customer needs
- Perform platform administration tasks for development, integration, and production instances
- Drive requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation & testing phases for the platform
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues and lead resolution plans
- Develop and maintain systems documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and oversee projects
- Deploy changes to production and UAT environments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology management
- Experience supporting enterprise financial/ERP systems, specifically Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a comparable role, with at least 3 years of recent experience managing cloud services
- Solid understanding of applications, data, integrations, and infrastructure architecture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and influence others toward common goals
- Experience with D365 and Power Platform integration is desirable
- Willingness to travel within Canada, US, Australia, and other countries
