PREPPER
Responsibilities:
- Able to fill paint duties in painting
- Finish sanding and prime repairs
- Sand & prepare all surfaces for paint
- Mask vehicles ready for paint
- Work and communicate with body man ant painter to arrange priority
- Work safe alongside others and keep area tidy
- Unpacking of parts
- Cleaning repair areas for masking and taping prior to primer and/or paint
- Masking vehicles to prevent over spray
- Mix and apply primer to damaged areas
- Sand and block primer to prepare for paint
- Own sander and paint/primer gun is required
- Occasional lifting of parts, such as hoods and doors, is required
- Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of vehicles
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License to move and operate Vehicles
- Ability to provide meticulous work
- Must be able to exhibit endurance
- Good time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
