A career in our Indirect Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. Our team helps our clients optimise cash flow and reduce risk by managing challenges related to indirect taxes. You’ll support our clients with all aspects of indirect taxation related to global, regional and domestic projects as well as comprehensive restructuring and reporting value added tax projects.

As an Indirect Tax Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Experience and skills you’ll use to solve
Demonstrated knowledge of sales tax experience
Strong business development skills and client focus and experience in GST/HST and other sales tax legislation
Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members
Strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and the ability to read and interpret legislation
Ability to handle multiple assignments, work effectively under pressure and work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail, ability to think creatively, and solve complex problems with innovative solutions
The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada.
