PB Tec is looking for a Drafter to join our team in Edmonton, AB.
As a leader in our industry PB tec develops innovative and advanced horticultural solutions in the field of electrical engineering, lighting, water engineering and automation.
Essential function:
Generate accurate and precise technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using CAD software.
Interpret and translate design concepts, sketches, or specifications into detailed drawings.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
Incorporate design changes or modifications based on feedback.
Create and maintain organized records of drawings and design revisions.
Ensure drawings adhere to established standards and guidelines.
Ensure drawings are dimensionally accurate, include necessary measurements, annotations, and labels.
Review and cross-check drawings for errors or inconsistencies.
Provide support to engineering or design teams by generating technical documentation and visual aids.
Assist in quality control processes by verifying that drawings match project specifications.
Utilize CAD software proficiently to create 2D and 3D drawings.
Adhere to industry-specific drafting standards, codes, and regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree or technical training in drafting is a plus).
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.).
Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to understand and interpret design specifications.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to the specific drafting field (e.g., architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
