Chess Piece Patisserie & Cafe encompasses 4 distinct company brands. Our original Patisserie & Cafe in DT Fredericton along with 2 cafes at the Fredericton International Airport. We also operate Chess Piece Market, a charcuterie & cheese store + we have Queen Street Creamery, small batch artisan ice cream & sorbets.
Store Manager:
- Responsible for the complete oversight of a single store
- Skilled and kno/wledgeable of all the duties and responsibilities necessary to efficiently and cost effectively manage the operation of the store
- Prepares reports to track such items as food cost, wastes, sales, inventory, and hours worked by team members
- Responsible for the physical facility including minor repair and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Monitors the inventory of food and beverage products
- Monitors the deliveries of supplies
- Handles and leads the team members
- Communicates menu or price changes, shortages and the likes
- Accurately projects sales and recognizes sales trends to ensure accurate production level
- Responsible for total guest satisfaction and customer service concerns
- Responsible in monitoring the employees attendance, performance and behavior during their duty schedule
- Screens the potential candidates for possible vacancies in the store
Bakers
- Great interpersonal communication skills to work as a team
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and operations procedures
- Able to follow recipes and both written and verbal instructions
- Responsible and on time to help us deliver the best customer satisfaction
Service/Cashier
- Smile and greet guests and provide immediate and excellent guest experiences
- Absolutely give the guest what they want and let them know it was your pleasure
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
