Responsibilities:

Monitor the running production in accordance with production schedule;
-
Sign off line clearances, line cleaning and production orders;
-
Control the machine parameters and the target specifications (i.e. cycle time, weight of shot, etc.);
-
Monitor the operating staff; giving instructions concerning the daily production routine (material, packaging, labeling, etc.); determining the scope of duties of the machine operator;
-
Elimination of production issues on the machines, molds, and other equipment;
-
Report scrap production numbers;
-
Inform the maintenance staff/Production Manager of necessary mold repairs;
-
Inform the scheduling department of production downtimes;
-
Change of material and modifying molds in accordance with the production schedule considering the target specifications;
-
Monitor and record raw material lot numbers for traceability purposes;
-
Communicate effectively between shifts;
-
Oversee safe usage of machinery and equipment;
-
Lead, oversee, and ensure safe work practices at all times;
Required Qualifications:
- Proven leadership ability
-
2 years maintenance experience and/or injection work experience
-
Knowledge of injection molding processes
-
Good math skills
-
Good written and verbal communication skills
-
Team player
-
Organized, detailed oriented with a demonstrated attention to detail
