A Behavioral Aide is a dedicated individual who provides one-on-one support and specialized care to children. They play a crucial role in helping children develop essential social, communication, and behavioral skills through structured activities and evidence-based interventions.
As a Behavioural Aide you will be expected to:
-Work closely with parents as well as specialists such as psychologists, speech, occupational and behavioural therapists.
-Model intervention plans through play
-Take detailed notes every session, providing a weekly update on progress, observations, and goals.
- Travel to client's homes.
-Attend performance reviews.
Requirements*
- Undergraduate or graduate students majoring in psychology or social work at a recognized post secondary, ensuring a pool of motivated individuals eager to make a positive impact.
-Proof of enrollment/ degree.
- Information background check.
-Interest in Child behaviour, development, and psychology.
