Specific responsibilities
Reporting to the Accounting and Administration Manager, the Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for financial and administrative services involving the collection and processing of funds, as well as, providing service to our brokers/insureds in Ontario, Manitoba, Edmonton and British Columbia. Their responsibilities will include but not limited to preparing the remittance and processing bank deposits, entering funds received for PAC and Direct Bill policies. The successful candidate will need to process banking changes, and withdrawal date changes along with billing modifications. They will also be responsible for the processing of various letters and the handling of returned bank item (NSF). As part of this role, they will provide customer service to our Brokers, Insureds, and underwriters as well as other administrative tasks.
We are looking to hire someone to work in our North Bay office. We have a hybrid work model that preserves the balance between working from home and that in-person interacting which is so valuable.
Work Experience and Aptitudes
In order to meet the requirements of this position, the candidate must have :
- Post secondary education or comparable previous experience
- Accounting experience, an asset.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Efficient keyboarding, and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Be a team player with a positive attitude.
