We are currently re-developing our Angular web application to comply with modern architecture and design patterns, and to provide a richer and more exciting new user experience. Within our testing processes, we strive for test automation wherever possible. With this project, you will focus on front-end testing, and will assist with designing, implementing, and running manual and automated test suites, test case, and software quality reporting.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain test scripts and cases within a Test Driven Design methodology

Work lock-step with other QA Analyst and developers to ensure that the implementation is meeting the test objectives.

Have a strong inclination and experience towards test automation

Be responsible for integration, regression, and performance testing

Characterize and report on software defects, tracking through to final resolution

Bring forth new ideas, approaches, technologies, and best practices
Experience
- Clear communications skills, with ability to discuss and recommend QA concepts clearly and efficiently.

Familiarity with modern QA automation and best practices.

Experience with UI test tools such as Cypress.io (http://Cypress.io)

Experience with Java Script for front-end test automation.

Experience with Jira

Experience with performance, capacity, and security testing.

5+ years experience in a QA role

Experience with modern web applications and related technologies
Location & Travel
- This is a remote position and a fully remote company.

Power TakeOff does have ties to Denver, Colorado, and Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, with a number of employees based in those markets.

Travel not required, but Power TakeOff does have events on occasion and pays for travel and accommodations for them.
