The Opportunity
We are looking for a Carpenter Foreman/woman to join our team in Nanaimo, BC. It is a key position to our organization and we need a quick-minded, energetic and hands-on individual, capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
- Reading blueprints, drawings and sketches
- Completing tasks assigned by Site Supervisor
- Good Communication with co-workers and subcontractors
- Conducting work safely
Qualifications / Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Knowledge in Finishing, Framing & Concrete Formwork required
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Teamwork is important with all crew members including Site Supervisor
- Punctuality
- Availability to work on trail upgrade sites all over Vancouver Island and flexibility to work in Central Vancouver Island and up to North
Skills/Abilities/Attributes
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in government projects
- Journeyman Carpentry Red Seal Certification
- First Aid Level One, Fall Protection, Aerial Boom Lift Platform and WHMIS Certificates will be considered an asset.
- Follows all company policies and standards, including health and safety policies and procedures.
- Must have a valid BC drivers’ license and a driver’s abstract will be requested if hired for the position
