VoPay is looking for a Recruiter & HR Assistant with experience in full cycle recruitment. Some experience in Human Resources and Payroll is an advantage. The ideal candidate is a professional who will lead all aspects of talent acquisition and create a superb candidate experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s recruitment needs.
- Create and manage talent acquisition campaigns.
- Create, maintain, and report on talent acquisition statistics and analytics.
- Collect and enter applicants into the HRIS system.
- Shortlist applicants using a variety of selection techniques including psychometric and technical testing.
- Arrange and participate in interviews.
- Perform preliminary interviews.
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
- Update electronic personnel files.
- Perform a comprehensive new employee onboarding.
- Assist People & Operations Manager in recruitment and HR tasks.
- Develop and maintain strong, trusting, working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-2 years work experience as a Recruiter.
- Experience with recruiting platforms.
- Experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.).
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other software tools.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to get to grips with new programs and software quickly.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strong sense of urgency and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize between several different searches at various stages simultaneously.
- A diligent approach when maintaining, monitoring, calculating and summarizing data, records, and information.
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality.
- Experience with HR is an asset.
- Experience with Payroll is an asset.
- Familiarity with FinTech is an asset.
- Familiarity with google suite is an asset.
