We require an experienced Mobile Maintenance Planner for our client, a mining firm with a growing operation located in the Yukon Territory. This is an Open Ended Contract requirement to start and we are looking for someone interested in staying on full-time/permanent. This is a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off requirement. The client is open to training the right individual, however, we are looking for someone with a background in one of the following: Tool Crib, Parts Coordinator, Warehousing, Logistics, Maintenance Coordination or Maintenance Admin or Heavy Duty Maintenance (HET/HD). Strong Strong software skills in MS Office, SAP or another ERP is helpful. Flights are paid and accommodation provided. $45-$60/hr, based on experience. Key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Develop, maintain, monitor and update the maintenance manual for the maintenance department, complete with business process flows, practices, policies & procedures and KPIs

Provide technical/operational input into maintenance procedures and systems to ensure operational readiness

Manage maintenance system including system data quality and seek out improvements to the system

Create accurate plans for the scheduling and manpower forecasting for weekly, monthly, annual and long-term maintenance schedules

Establish effective KPI reports for continual improvement

Monitor and measure maintenance costs and adjust planning accordingly

Analyze trends in equipment maintenance needs including breakdown, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, mean time between failure and mean time to repair

Identify increasing maintenance costs for pieces of equipment and if merited participate in preparing cost justification reports to support sustaining capital expenditures to replace items

Review and prioritize maintenance work requests with other team members

Compile, update and distribute backlog reports and other mandated control reports

Create and continually update maintenance programs and schedules and equipment parts lists

Coordinate and schedule maintenance contractors

Contribute to the LOMs plans by contributing to the 5 year plan as it relates to cost reduction and sustaining capital requirement
