In this role, you’ll leverage all that hands-on experience and expertise in your background and put it to good use helping us to support our customers and gain new ones while leading the charge in this area as your work helps to support the industry’s best sales team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Work in a safe manner, lead by example and contribute to overall company safety
-
Disassemble, inspect and repair rotating equipment and related components with a focus on gearboxes and power transmission equipment
-
Complete failure analysis, documentation and quality measurements required to properly evaluate components required to complete repairs.

Trouble shooting of systems and components
-
Disassembly, Inspection & Failure analysis of Hydraulic Components such as Pumps, Motors, Cylinders & ValvesRepairs and Testing of Hydraulic Components
-
Repair and Testing of Lubrication Pumps
-
New project work building, assembling, testing & commissioning of Power Units, Mobile Equipment, etc
-
Fluid Conveyance installations
-
Flushing & Purification of fluids in hydraulic systems
Lead Role Duties would include:
-
Cover for the service manager when the are out of the facility or busy with customers or meetings, or requested by the manager
-
Assist with implementing and training best practices, process and procedures
-
Mentor new and less experienced technicians
-
Shop sales/technical support resource on project quotes that require trouble shooting, modifications, significant labour requirements (billable)
-
Help cross train staff on specific product knowledge
-
Receive additional training to support new products, new services (electrical), new applications.

Assist with on the job training
Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:
-
Journeyman Millwright Certification or Red Seal Interprovincial Certification preferred.

Apprentices with relevant shop experience will be considered
-
Experience working in a rotating equipment maintenance, repair or fabrication environment an asset
-
Service orientated with exposure to quality assurance and quality control.

Ability to read, interpret and apply codes, standards, specifications, and drawings.

Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office and ERP software (SAP preferred).

Ability to prioritize and number of tasks and complete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines.
-
Extremely high level of attention to detail and strong root cause analysis skill.

Ability to use both written and verbal skills to effectively communicate technical information.
