Overview:
TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Project Management Interns for our Summer 2024 intern program out of our Montreal, QB Office. This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2024 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.
Responsibilities:
The Intelligent Grid Solutions team helps our clients with a variety of issues impacting the grid, including:

Clarify grid modernization strategy and technology requirements
-
Assess and integrate emerging digital operational technologies
-
Leverage their information assets to uncover new insights
-
Enable enhanced situational awareness for utility T&D operators
-
Fully leverage their smart meter investments
-
Identify and prioritize security and data protection risks
The Project Management Intern will work to support our consulting, PMO and delivery teams to help deliver quality products to our clients. Specifically, they will bring a high-energy attitude with excellent written, analytical and organizational skills. They will work with our Senior Consultants, Project Managers and other groups within the broader TRC:

Projects could include grid modernization technology roadmaps, requirements gathering and documentation, IT/OT integration and execution strategies, smart grid technology deployment, and business use case creation and evaluation, and internal process improvement initiatives

Will support various project tasks including:

Gathering & analyzing data for project deliverables

Organizing project documents, plans and timelines

Researching new technologies
-
Preparing reports, dashboards and other specifications
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old

Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Project Management or related field

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated and detail orientated person
