We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Business ANalyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.
Typical Day in Role:
- Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gather requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
- Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
- Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Support one or more highly complex business processes
- Assisting in Test Case preparation, Test Case Review
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
- Engage in end-to-end testing and keep track of defects
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1. 10+ years of Business Analysis experience in a technical environment within a large matrixed organization
2. 7+ years of Legacy BESS application experience
3. 10+ years of SWIFT experience
4. 5+ years of hands-on testing experience
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Previous Banking/FI experience – BNS experience is a bonus
- Experience with Payment Sanctions Screening Tools, preferably Global Sanctions Scanning or HotScan
- Experience with STP
