Red Deer Polytechnic is currently seeking a permanent full-time Director, Centres for Manufacturing and Energy Innovation to join our team.
Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Applied Research, the Director, Centres for Manufacturing and Energy Innovation directs and manages Red Deer Polytechnic’s Centre for Innovation in Manufacturing and Energy Innovation Centre, which supports the institution’s Strategic Transformation Plan and the province’s mandate for post-secondary education as identified in Alberta 2030: Building Skills of Jobs.
Combining strong technical knowledge in research, manufacturing, and engineering with superior networking skills, this role connects external stakeholders with faculty, students, and other researchers to find solutions for industry in our Centres for Innovation in Manufacturing and Energy Innovation.
