Reporting to the Bakery Manager this position's primary responsibility is ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the organization HR, helping and creating program budgets in collaboration with the Bakery Manager.
Ø Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and QA procedures
Ø Review performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
Ø Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties
Ø Determine staffing requirements. Interview and hire new employees.
Ø Monitor businesses and contractors to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits
Ø Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency
Ø At least 2 -4 years of relevant experience.
Ø Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
Ø Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
Ø Knowledge of human resource principles and practices
